Reading

Updated 9/6/2016

Note I began reading from this list many years ago--2007? I can't recall! But there have been changes to this list over the years as the curriculum has been revised. So, if you go to "today's" curriculum and don't find one of the books, then it has been revised out of the curriculum. This does not make it any less of a Living Book--just things need to be changed sometimes for a variety of reasons.

I have not included every biography of great men in history that I've read. For FDR and Churchill it's very, very many. But such bios are in the options for the later years.  I'm still trying to finish IVANHOE! Started it in '09 and it '12 now....time to FINISH it. I AM proving CM's theory that reading slowly is best.

NOTE: "Reading" includes both reading and audio books.

Completed:
[I am not including those completed from the Kindergarten and Year 1 list which I've read aloud to my children. Too many to list!] Many, but not all, of the books listed here in years 2--4 were read by me as we homeschooled with AO in 2005-2006.
